Family and Consumer Science 7 classes cover 4 different areas of life skills in a semester.

Child Development : Students learn about development of children, the importance of play and the neeeds of children.
Sewing Students learn basic tools and equipment used in sewing and learn how to use the machine and hand stitch by sewing a patchwork pillow
Foods/Nutrition Students learn basic kitchen tools and equipment, kitchen safety, measuring, how to follow a recipe and how to work in a group. Students usually cook 4-5 times during the semester.
These classes fulfill the two required graduation standards of Personal and Group Resources
