Jill Gebeke is in her third year as principal of Cleveland Junior High School. Prior to that, she served as assistant principal at Humboldt Junior High for six years. She began her career with St. Paul Public Schools in 1986 as a mathematics teacher and athletic coach. Ms. Gebeke was the first girl's hockey coach for the district sponsored team, the St. Paul Blades. She has worked in several SPPS; Humboldt Secondary Complex, Arlington High School, Murray Junior High and currently Cleveland Junior High.

Ms. Gebeke earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in mathematics from St. Cloud State University, her Master's Degree and Administrative Licensure from Saint Mary's University. In 2005, she was awarded the Assistant Principal of the Year for the Capital Division from the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.
