Welcome! The English Department at Cleveland Junior High School is composed of Shoua Moua and Jen Schultz. This year, the English Department is utilizing the new district curriculum, Memoir and Personal Narrative at the seventh grade level, and Power and Justice in the World at the eighth grade level.
The multi-faceted emphasis within Cleveland English classes includes use of the Writer's Notebook and 6+ Writing Traits; reading comprehension strategies; research with technology integrated into classroom activities; and implementation of the district graduation requirements.
