Our mission is to provide challenging academics that will prepare the next generation of explorers.  Our Grades 5-8 parent teacher conferences, November 11-12 (4:00-8:00 pm) and Nov. 13 (ALL DAY). school community will inspire students and their families to examine, understand and protect our planet and beyond. Thank you for coming to conferences.  If you've missed your scheduled time slot, please don't hesitate to call the school office and set up another time to meet about your child's progress. Happy Hmong New Year 2010 Our Annual Hmong New Year celebration is scheduled for this Friday, November 20th.  We have a great program planned.  Please contact Mr. Chang for more information.  SPORTS!!  As Fall sport comes to a close this week, Winter sports begins!  Please turn in your uniforms to Mr. McCray.  Students interested in Winter sports should contact and sign up with Mr. McCray, Athletic Director at the 5-8 site.  Coaches this Winter are as follows: Mr. Steiner, Boys Girls' soccer won their last game at Battle Creek, 2-0!! Wrestling Mr. Tillman, Girls Basketball Note: Players must have all health forms/physical on file Several students spent the weekend at the Shubert Performing Arts and Education Center.  They performed in the Groundbreaker Battle and did an outstanding job.  Click here to view a video from the event.  YouTube version.
